General information

A Fiat Punto car's steering and suspension geometry is defined in four basic settings – camber, castor, steering axis inclination and toe-setting. With the exception of front wheel toe-setting, none of these settings is adjustable and, in all cases, special equipment is required to check them. Note that front wheel toe-setting is often referred to as 'tracking' or 'front wheel alignment'.

Due to the special measuring equipment necessary to check the front wheel toe-setting, and the skill required to use it properly, the checking and adjustment of toe-setting is best left to a Fiat dealer or similar expert. Note that most tyre fitting shops now possess sophisticated checking equipment.
